Starter Pets for Pet Meld Maxing [ESO]

NOTE: This guide is originally by iforget.

First of all, you need 2 starting area pets. 1 clever Dewdrop Bunny and 1 Chimpsy Chimp of any attitude except Normal.

  • Catch one clever dew drop bunny they are located near roar the hunter. Then from npc near roar called collector Val but one chimpsy chimp. If it is normal sell it back and buy one more.
  • Now take the bunny and the chimp and lvl them both to approx lvl 120. Take them both to the forge and place bunny in first as host and chimp 2nd as support.
  • Click preview is all stats hp int and str preview as max do the meld if they show under max on preview then lvl the pets up slightly more then come preview again. This step just cost you from memory 2400 spirit.
  • Now get you redridge and lvl it as high as you can. The maxed bunny re-lvl it to around 120.
  • Then take both pets to the forge and this time preview with the redridge as the host and bunny as support. If all stats show maxed do the meld if they are below max lvl up more. This step costs 39400 spirit from memory.
  • If the top box is higher then the bottom (always left side) then the pet will max on melding.

Pet Maxing Guide (Hp/Str/Int + Rank) [ESO]

NOTE: This guide is originally by Rahul.

What happens when you do the Celestial Pet quest from Roor the Hunter and realised the free Panda Cub or Redridge Hatchling has only 2 fusion stats? Of course you don't sell or drop it at all, instead, you can use them as a pet melding tool to increase your main pet's HP, STR and INT to maxed. Read on for more info:

I see there are a few pet melding guides here already, but I'll put this in the basket anyways. Came up with this when I was experimenting with pet melds n stuff. The simplest Hp/Str/Int + Rank Maxer making technique I've come up with till date. Hope this helps in someway.

Pets Required

  • Fierce Panda Cub or Redridge Hatchling -any elemental- (can be bought ingame from players or obtained from lv100+ daily at Roor the Hunter at pokari)
  • Bright Dewdrop Bunny -non elemental- (can be caught near Roor The Hunter in Pokari)
  • Bright Auto-Repair Android -non elemental- (can be caught in Ole Region near mines using traps that it itself drops when its killed)

  • First Meld - lv120+ Bright Dewdrop Bunny (Host) + lv120+ Fierce Panda Cub or Redridge Hatchling (Support), using Charm of Memory (Green round charm available at npc Wehn for 500 Gaap Virtue, also available on stalls for 10-20g)

This meld should give you a maxed HP/Str/Int Dewdrop Bunny. The level of this pet you get will be decreased to lv110 or so due to the meld, so you will need to level it again to lv120+.

Final Meld - lv120+ Bright Auto-Repair Android (Host) + lv120+ hp/str/int maxed Dewdrop Bunny from 1st Meld (Support), using Charm of Source (Orange round charm available at npc Wehn for 500 Gaap Virtue, also available on stalls for 10-20g)

This meld should give you hp/str/maxed Auto-Repair Android with rank 500+ This Auto-Repair Android is your (HP/Str/Int) + Rank Maxer Pet.

You can use this Auto-Repair Android at lv120 as support pet to max HP/Str/Int of any Host pet (which also should be lvled to lv120+).

As I explained in the beginning, this Maxed Auto-Repair Android is your HP/Str/Int maxer with rank 500+. This maxed Auto-Repair Android can be used for maxing any pet such as WD/Hulon Firedrake/Panda/Redridge (lv1 evo), etc. Note that the Host and Support pets lvl should be more than lv120 when doing any melds.

Vitamins for Evolving Panda Cub & Redridge Hatchling

If you have looked around Heaven's Repository under the Pets - Training tab, you would have noticed the Advanced Vitamins · I, Advanced Vitamins · II and Advanced and Vitamins · III selling at 50 e-cent, 1 E-buck and 2 E-buck respectively.

If you can afford to, of course, you would buy those to evolve your maxed Panda Cub or Redridge Hatchling. But what if you do not want to spend any EB on evolving your Celestial Egg pets and yet at the same time, do not mind taking longer to evolved it completely?

Good news! Roor the Hunter has another quest beside Celestial Egg. You get 5 tokens from Roor, where each token need you to kill 100 mobs of your level (or higher) and the rewards are Vitamin · I. Depending on your luck, you can get between 1 Vitamin · I to a few for each token fulfilled. Save all your Vitamin · I. Do you know why?

Bet you might not have thought of it. 10 Vitamin · I can be forged at the Ancestral Forge into 1 Vitamin · II. There you were thinking, why didn't I ever got Vitamin · II as a reward before? That's because we are supposed to forge them into the next level vitamin. Don't believe, see this!

Yep, it definitely can be forged into the next level vitamin. It cost only 1 gold. Whatever gold you spend are mostly on pots to finish the quest and to evolve your pet(s) with the vitamins you already have. Sure, it takes longer than the Advanced Vitamins from Heaven's Repository. But so what? Instead of having to spend a few thousand dollars to evolved the free pet you get from Roor. What you are spending in this case is just time, effort and gold farming with a little bit of patience added in the mix. Whereas someone else have to spend a few thousand for bragging rights to show it off, you can do the same, but without spending a single cent from your bank account.

If the current rate for EB is 1 EB to, for example, 1200G. It would take more than $1000 multiplied by 1200G just to get a Stage 1 pet to evolve to Stage 2. YOu do the math and decide whether it's worth paying that much money in real life for a free pet. Or just work hard at farming gold to convert all your Vitamin · I to Vitamin II and so on.

Hope this helps if you happened to not want to spend too much cold hard cash to get the best stuffs in ESO =]

Celestial Egg [ESO]

Roor the Hunter has a Celestial Egg quest. Before you get all excited, here's the catch:

  • Lv90 players can redeem it once between Lv90 - Lv99, thereafter, you have to get to Lv100 in order to get a free egg everyday
  • Lv100 players can redeem one Celestial Egg each day per server reset
  • Players at Lv120 can redeem up to 2 Celestial Eggs each day per server reset

As soon as you get the Celestial Egg in your bag, right click on it and you will see this:

Hover your mouse on 1 of the stone egg to crack it and reveal your prize. Depending on your luck, there are 5 items that you can get from this Celestial Egg. They are:

  • Smart Candy x 1
  • Evolvable Egg x 1 (Either Panda Cub or Redridge Hatchling and whatever stats or elemental affinity is random)
  • Fragranberry Pack (Right click to get 5)
  • Doctrine of Mercy x 1
  • Plus! · Treaty of the Sensible: Guarantees Sensible Attitude when you meld a Calm Pet as your host

Extra Tip: So, you get either a fierce Panda Cub or a fierce Redridge Hatchling with stats you do not like. What do you do with it? Fret not! Rahul has made a new pet guide for maxing HP, INT and STR all in one meld and they do not involve too much pet catching in order to do. Sure, you still need bright Dewdrop Bunnies and bright Auto-Repair Androids to accomplish.

IMPORTANT: Take note that all items from the Celestial Egg are tradable and sellable. Although it's best if you do not buy a un-identified pet from Trading Realm as anyone can claimed whatever elemental affinity or how many fuse stats it has.

Grand Ceremony [ESO]

For Grand Ceremony quest, this is obtainable once daily by talking to General Uree (Solar Temple) and it involves talking to at least 5 NPCs. Which 5 NPCs are totally random, sometimes you're luck and you have to talk to NPCs inside various towns on various maps. If you're unlucky, you'll get the Carp to Wind God 3-4 days in a row. Upon completion of this quest, you will then have to go back to Pokari and look for General Uree to submit the quest. There is no time limit and neither is there a quest for you to reset it. Therefore, if you trashed the quest, you will have to wait until the next day or next server reset before you can pick it up again. Note that these quests are good in increasing your EXP intake, so it's best to actually do them on a daily basis. And always remember, Grand Ceremony quest always starts and ends with General Uree.

Here's the list of the NPCs you need to talk to:

  • Etherblade Master Lu Donbi (Fort Phoenix) - Grand Ceremony Invitation 1
  • God of Prosperity (Eloquence Peak) - Grand Ceremony Invitation 2
  • Monk Lozu Bodi (Ancestral Ruins) - Grand Ceremony Invitation 3

It's Pie [ESO]

For It's Pie quest (obtainable at Lv26), you will first need to talk to Ziola to accept this quest. Upon accepting this quest, there will be a countdown of 2 hours which you can simply keep track of on your Tracker List. As soon as 2 hours is up, there will be a list of NPCs to talk to in order to get the quest reward(s), namely:

  • Engineer's Wife
  • General Scruffins
  • Scholar Loskit
  • Guard Lon
  • Mapkeeper Ming

Along the way in between talking to these listed NPCs, sometimes you will get a Taisung's Chest:

This Taisung's Chest is a lotto-based prize, and you need to open up your bag and right click on it. Here's a list of the prizes in Taisung's Chest:

Prizes includes (in clock-wise direction):

  • Ethrelic
  • Condensed Ethrelic
  • Raw Jade of Fog
  • Etheral Charm·Kun
  • Godly Ethrelic
  • Double EXP Token (2 hour)
  • Astral Ethrelic
  • Etheral Charm·Tui
  • Kenaturide Mount (not sure if it's 30-day or permanent)
  • Ethrelic of Dragon Blood

Although sometimes if you're really unlucky, you'll receive some Event Tokens, or worse, fireworks:

But fret not, this quest can be taken once everyday. And also for players who have DS/TDS gears/weapon, take note! You can actually get a Dragon Apothegm I from this quest too, although rare. Therefore, it might be better to just wait out a little if you do not intend to spend too much ebucks on spamming lotto boxes just to get a Dragon Apo I.

Note: This quest only have a countdown timer for 2 hours. Once 2 hours is up, you have only 30 minutes to talk to the required NPCs in order to get the quest reward(s). If you missed the 30 minute mark and the timer runs out, you'll lose that quest and the reward(s) that comes with it for the day and can only re-take it at the next immediate server reset. So take note!

If for any reason the timer countdowns past 0 minutes, eg. -10 minutes, simply relog out of your account and log back in again, not realm hop. This method should solve the timer issue if you had previously glitch yourself prior to possing and after getting this quest.

Move Treasure [ESO]

For General Zurin's Move Treasure quest, you will first need to talk to General Zurin (Solar Temple) to accept the quest and then wait it out for 1 hour. After that 1 hour is up, you can simply check your quest log to see what are the reward(s) you will be getting. Most times, it's 25 Event Tokens. However, if you feel that you would prefer something else other then Event Tokens, for example, a ◎Stone of Peace or White Dragon, there is this quest from General Zurin that lets you reset the quest for another 1 hour. So far, the reward(s) for completing this quest are:

  • 25 Event Tokens
  • Frostlion Mount
  • ◎ Stone of Peace
  • White Dragon

Do be aware that the reward(s) for this quest is random. Therefore, good luck in getting a ◎ SoP or WD =D

Note: This quest only have a countdown timer for 1 hour. Once an hour is up, you can choose to go back to General Zurin a little later to get your reward or reset it before server reset is up. No penalty if you missed talking to General Zurin.

If for any reason the timer countdowns past 0 minutes, eg. -10 minutes, simply relog out of your account and log back in again, not realm hop. This method should solve the timer issue if you had previously glitch yourself prior to possing and after getting this quest.

Threat of Pokari [ESO]

For Threat of Pokari, this involves talking to Ziola (The East Market) to accept the quest and then retrieving an item called Dangerous Items. After accepting the quest from Ziola, you will need to go to where Woodsman Roki (The West Market) is. Around him you will see various chests called Dangerous Items when you hover your mouse over it. As there are 5 such chests around Woodsman Roki, you will/might have to check and see which are the ones you can retrieve by hovering your mouse over them.

Once done, go back to Ziola (The East Market) to submit the quest. Sometimes, if you're lucky you might get this item called Anonymous Letter.

If you don't, do not fret though. As long as you have alt(s) that are Lv60 and above, those alt(s) are eligible to pick up the quest itself. Because, this Anonymous Letter can actually be traded between players or even mailed from your alt to your main. But how do you know if you have this letter? Simple! If you're lucky, the right side of your game client screen will let you know, or alternatively, you can check your bag since this Anonymous Letter will automatically go into your bag. At this stage, take note that if you talk to Ziola and accidentally click on the 4th part of Threat of Pokari, the Anonymous Letter quest will automatically be logged onto your alt(s) quest log. And you wouldn't want that to happen if you know you need the extra EXP to level up.
