Although you can the quest and the satchet itself at least an hour before this event starts, you can only start right-clicking it for goodies on the dot per every 2 minutes. The quest itself can also be picked up even after it has started, but then, it'll be wiser to get it just slightly earlier in order to reap the benefits of it for 1 full hour instead of less than an hour, right?

It's Pie [ESO]

For It's Pie quest (obtainable at Lv26), you will first need to talk to Ziola to accept this quest. Upon accepting this quest, there will be a countdown of 2 hours which you can simply keep track of on your Tracker List. As soon as 2 hours is up, there will be a list of NPCs to talk to in order to get the quest reward(s), namely:

  • Engineer's Wife
  • General Scruffins
  • Scholar Loskit
  • Guard Lon
  • Mapkeeper Ming

Along the way in between talking to these listed NPCs, sometimes you will get a Taisung's Chest:

This Taisung's Chest is a lotto-based prize, and you need to open up your bag and right click on it. Here's a list of the prizes in Taisung's Chest:

Prizes includes (in clock-wise direction):

  • Ethrelic
  • Condensed Ethrelic
  • Raw Jade of Fog
  • Etheral Charm·Kun
  • Godly Ethrelic
  • Double EXP Token (2 hour)
  • Astral Ethrelic
  • Etheral Charm·Tui
  • Kenaturide Mount (not sure if it's 30-day or permanent)
  • Ethrelic of Dragon Blood

Although sometimes if you're really unlucky, you'll receive some Event Tokens, or worse, fireworks:

But fret not, this quest can be taken once everyday. And also for players who have DS/TDS gears/weapon, take note! You can actually get a Dragon Apothegm I from this quest too, although rare. Therefore, it might be better to just wait out a little if you do not intend to spend too much ebucks on spamming lotto boxes just to get a Dragon Apo I.

Note: This quest only have a countdown timer for 2 hours. Once 2 hours is up, you have only 30 minutes to talk to the required NPCs in order to get the quest reward(s). If you missed the 30 minute mark and the timer runs out, you'll lose that quest and the reward(s) that comes with it for the day and can only re-take it at the next immediate server reset. So take note!

If for any reason the timer countdowns past 0 minutes, eg. -10 minutes, simply relog out of your account and log back in again, not realm hop. This method should solve the timer issue if you had previously glitch yourself prior to possing and after getting this quest.

Move Treasure [ESO]

For General Zurin's Move Treasure quest, you will first need to talk to General Zurin (Solar Temple) to accept the quest and then wait it out for 1 hour. After that 1 hour is up, you can simply check your quest log to see what are the reward(s) you will be getting. Most times, it's 25 Event Tokens. However, if you feel that you would prefer something else other then Event Tokens, for example, a ◎Stone of Peace or White Dragon, there is this quest from General Zurin that lets you reset the quest for another 1 hour. So far, the reward(s) for completing this quest are:

  • 25 Event Tokens
  • Frostlion Mount
  • ◎ Stone of Peace
  • White Dragon

Do be aware that the reward(s) for this quest is random. Therefore, good luck in getting a ◎ SoP or WD =D

Note: This quest only have a countdown timer for 1 hour. Once an hour is up, you can choose to go back to General Zurin a little later to get your reward or reset it before server reset is up. No penalty if you missed talking to General Zurin.

If for any reason the timer countdowns past 0 minutes, eg. -10 minutes, simply relog out of your account and log back in again, not realm hop. This method should solve the timer issue if you had previously glitch yourself prior to possing and after getting this quest.

Threat of Pokari [ESO]

For Threat of Pokari, this involves talking to Ziola (The East Market) to accept the quest and then retrieving an item called Dangerous Items. After accepting the quest from Ziola, you will need to go to where Woodsman Roki (The West Market) is. Around him you will see various chests called Dangerous Items when you hover your mouse over it. As there are 5 such chests around Woodsman Roki, you will/might have to check and see which are the ones you can retrieve by hovering your mouse over them.

Once done, go back to Ziola (The East Market) to submit the quest. Sometimes, if you're lucky you might get this item called Anonymous Letter.

If you don't, do not fret though. As long as you have alt(s) that are Lv60 and above, those alt(s) are eligible to pick up the quest itself. Because, this Anonymous Letter can actually be traded between players or even mailed from your alt to your main. But how do you know if you have this letter? Simple! If you're lucky, the right side of your game client screen will let you know, or alternatively, you can check your bag since this Anonymous Letter will automatically go into your bag. At this stage, take note that if you talk to Ziola and accidentally click on the 4th part of Threat of Pokari, the Anonymous Letter quest will automatically be logged onto your alt(s) quest log. And you wouldn't want that to happen if you know you need the extra EXP to level up.

Pit of Champions Guide [ESO]

Well, this is only a short simple guide for those of you all who can actually level up really fast, like "Zoom! I'm Lv100 now" fast. In short, Pit of Champion can be a good way to get from Lv90 - Lv99/Lv100 if you have the time and dedication to do it even if you know you don't have enough Defense points to get hit for only 1 dmg. I did PoC on RaiLyn and she had only under 600 Defense and I managed to got her from Lv91 to Lv98. All in all, if you think you wanted to save your gold on making Defense/Poss gears to concentrate on working on Lv100 gears, perhaps this guide is for you too. Other than that, just enjoy~

Before you can even do Pit of Champions instance, there are some important criterias you need to be aware of. Some of them might not be compulsory, but ultimately it's up to the person doing this instance.

  • Pit of Champion map obtainable once daily from Mapkeeper Ming, located at The Former Square in Pokari
  • Enough HP and MP pots to survive one round of Pit run, or at least able to withstand hits from pit mobs
  • Combatable Mount (Optional), but in the event you are being hit for a certain amount, the mount ensures you can run off and pot in time
  • Double EXP Token - If you don't have one, get it via Facebook once only. Subsequent rounds of Pit runs will give you Double EXP tokens. However, I recommend not using the tokens until you are at least Lv105, instead accumulate Spirits and Valor being the utmost importance
  • Pets that you need to level up

And prior to entering the instance, check via Dispatcher Chun to see if there's an empty instance slot available. Many times, I buffed up, activated my double EXP token and ended up finding out I had to realm hop and at the same time lose my buffs cos it's all full-house in Realm 3. (Not sure why somedays Realm 3 is so popular with Pit spamming =_=" )

As soon as you get teleported inside, you will spawn at a spot where the blue arrow is in the image above. Try not to stay at that spot because mobs take too long to reach the area where you spawn. This spot is the same place in which you re-spawn again if you either lag and get killed by Pit mobs or just simply got killed by Pit mobs due to low Defense. If you see where the red arrow is pointing, that is the place where you need to quickly run to before the very 1st batch of Pit mobs spawns. And this is why you need to check via Dispatcher Chun if there's a free instance slot for you and also at the same time to buff up before teleporting inside the instance if a free instance slot is available. You save time on the buffing up and can run to the designated spot before mobs spawn.

If you managed to run to the front of the platform just in time to see the very 1st batch of mobs spawn, here's what you should do next. (If you're a mystic with low Defense, you might want to use Incantation Glow at this point.) As soon as the mobs starts approaching the steps, you can either run towards the left or right to lure them all in one direction. And as soon as they start following you, you may proceed to spam your AoE skill on them. But note that these mobs won't stand there and wait to be killed, they will start to aggro and attack you. Therefore, remember to pot AND run around when necessarily. If you have ever tried to tank Master Crabbins inside River Temple 1 and 2, you should probably know what I'm talking about. But this time, instead of just one Master Crabbins, it's plenty of Master Crabbins disguised as 10 different mobs per round.

At this point, remember that bridge you need to run over before you get to the platform where those Pit mobs spawn? Summon your pet out on that small bridge, put it on Idle and change your pet(s) skill, if they have any, to Manual. Especially important if you are using Pit of Champions to level up certain pets to meld with, since pets like these tend not to be equipped with pet bells of any sort and neither is their HP/Def is high enough to withstand attacks from these spawning Pit mobs. As long as you hold aggro on Pit mobs that have spawned, your pet shouldn't be attacked at any point. And when Pit bosses shows up, you can press the shortcut key for Attack or enable Auto for any particular pet skill your pet can deal the most damage to help kill the Pit boss fast.

Some items that are worth picking up inside Pit of Champion instance includes:

  • Time Dust Stone - For crafting ☆ Pet Chaplets
  • Crystal of Earth Eternity - For crafting ☆ Pet Chaplets
  • Crystal of Flame Rage - For crafting ☆ Pet Chaplets
  • Shattered Void Stone - For crafting Void Stones
  • Dragon Slayer Essence Debris - For exchanging for DS gears/weapon
  • Ethrelic of Dragon Blood - For imbuing DS Gears/weapon
  • △Destiny Jade Debris - For re-rolling of Lv90 Destiny gears/weapon if you're equipped with them
  • □Destiny Jade Debris - For re-rolling Lv100 Destiny gears/weapon if you're equipped with or intend to use them
  • Heavensack Stone - For embedding in signets if you need more HP
  • Tiger Growl Stone - For embedding in signets if you need more Strength (Applicable for Hellion chars)
  • Sacred · Stone of Termination - Gives Critcast Rate +1%
  • Sacred · Stone of Abnormalty - Gives Resilience +1
  • Sacred · Stone of Dignity - Gives Strength +50
  • Sacred · Stone of Delicacy - Gives Accuracy +2
  • Sacred · Stone of Fury -Gives Intellect +50

If not, you can collect these to sell if you do not need them. Another good way to earn a little extra gold on the side =D

Hope this little guide is of help to newer players who might not have the Defense gears necessarily to do a successful Pit run.

Taking full advantage of freebies in MMO

This 30-day Glister skyblade is obtainable from Lv45 Treasure Chest in Jade Dynasty.

There comes a time when you wish you were rich enough to splurge real money on MMO. It could be for various reasons that includes prepping your gears to be PvP-enabled with deadly crit figures, or it can just simply be as plain and straightforward as getting from Point A to Point B without having to encounter various aggro mobs on the way. Sometimes, there are certain freebies within a MMO game that gives you something to try for for as short as 24 hours to at least 1 month long.

And when you do, you will start getting excited and yet confused all at the same time. Excited because for a certain amount of period, certain quests that seemed to be unable to be completed can finally be done now. But confused because for a start, suddenly your mind just simply forgot what exactly are you going to do now that you have something that you've coveted from Day 1 of playing a MMO.

First of all, take a look at your quest log and see which quests needs you to, say for example, fly around. Especially so in the world of Jade Dynasty where NPCs are stationed above ground, just out of reach if you do not have flying/glide gears. Make a mental note which of these quests are of utter importance. In my experience in Jade Dynasty, it's definitely the Treasure Hunt quest, which is obtainable from an NPC called Sky Dweller who unfortunately for me, resides high up in the sky just inside a popular safezone town.

Unfortunately for me, I need a flying/glide gear of some sort in order to do this quest which can be done a total of 3 times per day, where the amount awarded for successfully completing this quest is dependable on your current level. But imagine with the use of a 30-day flying gear such as this Glister, where in just under 1 week, I have managed to accumulate close to 120G out of sheer utter perseverance. It's not easy, but anything beats having to spend real money.

Although there are many other quests that involves reaching NPCs stationed high in the sky, most of them probably will want you to defeat the same type of boss or monster(s) a certain amount of times. It's important to find out and try to remember which ones are worth doing via a list. For example, the top of your list that the quest you really need to do are the ones that gives you in-game gold. Followed next would be either better gears or pet exp potions. And no doubt, different quest objectives with different quest rewards asks you to defeat certain types of boss or monster(s) from a minimum of 10 times to maybe 18 times or even more.

But luckily, in Jade Dynasty, there's an available in-game bot called an Esper which lets you "Vigorate" (a.k.a Bot), and this does comes in handy when I am trying to kill 10 Celestial Vanguards without having to stare at my screen throughout all 10 killings and button smashing my skills. Lucky me, I guess.

Cool part for me as of now? This game is actually offering players to redeem a Grade 18 pet daily via their Facebook Connect and this greatly aids in getting my favorite quest done in as short a time as possible. Phew! Imagine trying to kill the same monster 10 to 18 times with my regular Grade 3 pet, I will probably try to tear my hair out from the agony of it.

What about you? Any moments when you are glad of certain freebies in your favorite MMO that aids you in completing quests much more faster than you expected? Share them with me as I would like to know about it.

Hotel Transylvania Social Game [FB]

So for today, I'm going to talk about The Hotel Transylvania Social Game game/app on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/HotelTGame) by Sony Pictures Imageworks.

As usual with most Facebook apps/games, quests are generally easy to find. But if you're new or still clueless, old and new quests for Facebook apps/games are always on the left side of the game itself. It's not that hard to locate and you do have to click on it to understand a little more of what exactly you need to do to fulfill a quest.

Basically, you start off the game with a Hotel Lobby and a small graveyard plot that consists of 1 available Zombie Bellhop. Dracula himself will guide you on your first steps in playing the game, and what you need to first do to get your Hotel Transylvania running is to first purchase a small bedroom and build it, and that my dearies will be your very first quest. Let's face it, without room(s), how on earth are you going to run a hotel with only a hotel lobby, right? But here's a little tip before you go any further: Don't use HYPNOSIS (that blue swirly thing) unless Dracula asks you to, as it's very easy to use them all up without realizing it.

And not forgetting bed(s). Once your very first hotel room is built, at least purchase a bed, just as Dracula guides and hints at you along the way. Would you want to sleep in a hotel room without the comfort of a bed, right on the floor? I won't, I knpw that. And none will your ghoul customers either in the game. Once the room is built, your first customer (a skeleton) will show up. And before buying the bed, you cannot check-in the customer. So remember, beds are of utmost importance!

Once everything is done, you may proceed to check in your skeleton guest. And the undead customers will keep on coming, so keep building at least a few more small bedrooms and buy beds if possible. And you also need a zombie bellhop to guide guests to their respective rooms. The very first zombie bellhop you can raise is a Slow Zombie, whereby Dracula will need you to use a HYPNOSIS to speed up the raising. Slow Zombie bellhops can only serve 10 undead customers before they go back to their graves, and the only way to make them last more than 10 undead customers is to feed them brains.

And this is where we proceed to go on to the next important aspect of the app/game itself, Crafting.

Crafting. What game doesn't let you prolong or advance a little better without the use of crafting? Over at The The Hotel Transylvania Social Game, you can craft up to 12 different items and they are namely:

  • Brain - To feed Zombie Bellhops so they last longer
  • Dracula Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Frankenstein Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Gremlin Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Happy Potion - To make undead guests happy when they'v waited too long to check out
  • Hypnosis - To speed things up
  • Steve Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Mummy Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Quasimodo Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Wayne Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)
  • Yeti Costume - For visiting/renting a room at your neighbor(s)

And luckily, each crafted item needs different items to be crafted. So you need not worry about the same items being used in 2 or 3 different crafts. Once you have the necessary items from checking your undead customers out of their activities, just go straight ahead and craft the Brains, Happy Potions and Hypnosis.

Another tip to take note of: Do not craft costumes until any quest(s) asks you to. Waste not is the real reason. You may possibly get extra EXP from a quest via Drcula only available crafted when Dracula wants it, so beware of early-crafting.

However, certain items needed to craft unique items such as HYPNOSIS for example, may take ages to collect, so use the ones you have with caution too. It seems tempting to speed up lots of buildings/constructions just for the sake of finishing an old quest fast in order to get new ones and level up. But don't be tempted!

And for the record, undead guests that are waiting to be checked in does not need to be fed Happy Potions, these potions are only used on guests that have been waiting too long to be checked for, example, you go to bed and wake up 8 hours later to find out a skeleton has been waiting to be checked out since 6 hours ago.

Crafting a Dracula costume when there's a quest for it rewards you with:
  • 150 coins
  • 20 EXP
  • Brown Bat Table (For decorating your hotel room)
  • Moon (For crafting Wayne Costume)

This now brings us back to the topic, which happens to be my favorite, Zombie Bellhops!

As mentioned, the very first Zombie Bellhops you can raise are Slow Zombie which costs nothing at all. The only downside is that a Slow Zombie can only serve 10 undead guests before it goes back to the grave for good. Hence, that is why you don't need to speed up much stuffs. Save up the HYPNOSIS and BRAINS for when your Hotel is at a higher level, has more rooms and need more Zombie Bellhops to maintain.

Average Zombies need 1 minute to be raised but costs 150 coins while Slow Zombie is free but needs 1 hour to be raised, so you may want to use the free ones instead to save up your money for a rainy day, especially if you hotel has a few rooms or you are still at a lower level.

And here's a list of available codes up for redemption through the app/game itself for room decorations:
  • GRIFFIN
  • YOUTH
  • OPENSEASONMOVIE
  • FRANK
  • EUNICE
  • DRACULA
  • Wolves
  • Johnny
  • SMURFS MOVIE
  • SMURFS2

VERDICT: TO be honest, I've tried other "goth" related Facebook app/games from as early as when I initially had a Facebook account. The game itself was rather simplistic to the point of being boring to play with and I dread each day as friends sent me requests for it. But looking back at those vampire games, maybe I should be glad that they existed in the early days of Facebook.

As right now, Sony Interactive has launched a new social game on Facebook called The Hotel Transylvania Social Game. And Sony Pictures is definitely setting the buzz going by introducing a game version of it's animated movie.

The game, just like the movie, is set in Count Dracula’s lavish, five star resort. A place where monsters (a.k.a undead guests) can live the good life away from the prying eyes of those pesky humans, namely you and me. The game play is actually interesting and definitely not what I expected. But it can be a little complex here and there, such as adding rooms for guests, furnishing hotel rooms to increase happiness, and grow your zombie bell boy legion to use them as Bellhops. Let's face it, you can't expect hotel guests to check themselves in and out and carry their luggage all over the place huh?

Like any good social game that are a plenty too many on Facebook, you can check back daily to collect rewards, share gifts with friends/neighbors by sending them gifts, although there's only 3 type of gifts available to choose from. And not forgetting, entertaining your hotel guests via usage of certain hotel facilities to accumulate EXP and points. Of course, as with most social media games, if you want to get ahead in the virtual world, you can do so via the in-app shop.

The last time I played something similar was called Hotel City although this game is defunct. So, I'm rather glad something similar such as The Hotel Transylvania Social Game coming along and filling up the void, despite it's apparent flaws. And now that we're already in the wonderful month of October, I do sincerely hope that certain noticeable flaws are fixed before the arrival of Halloween itself. Or it'll be a shame to be playing a flawed Facebook game during the spooky wonderful days leading up to Halloween.

The Hotel Transylvania Social Game game/app on Facebook is free to play for everyone who has a Facebook account. Go over to https://www.facebook.com/HotelTGame for more info.

Battle of Xanada [ESO]

For new players who might or want to get Lv90 Annihilation gears, here's a simple guide:

When is Battle of Xanada:
24/7. basically anytime someone goes in after being empty, it starts. Just like any other dungeon/instance run.

Where is Battle of Xanada:
Dispatcher Chun -  Realm 5 only

How to get into Battle of Xanada:

Mapkeeper Ming (a.k.a donkey guy) gives you up to 3 maps per day at the following (Ancestral Ruins/Fort Phoenix)SERVER times:

11am-2pm
6pm-8pm
8pm-10pm

You either get a Heaven or a Demons map. It's random. However, read the next sentence:

Queen of Amaz also has a strange Xanada-related quest or two that essentially lock you into a certain side (Heaven or Demon) for maybe a week or even longer? And it's REALLY annoying mainly because you can't be flexible about which side to join if you have maps saved up, and also because you can't do your daily xanada XP/gold quests for both sides. (I'm not sure if this quest still exists, but if it does, just take note of it)

TIP 1: Xanada maps do not expire, and they stack. You can have at 2 bag slots taken up if you collect Heaven and Demon maps.

TIP 2: When you choose to enter the Xanada adventure and then pick a side, you will then be asked "Do you want to teleport in?" Always say NO! At this point, you are only in the queue and you are free to look at the player lists for BOTH sides, and then choose to "Enter" if you decide you have picked the correct side, or "Leave Queue" if you decide you want to wait and/or pick a different side. Be careful, other players can also be in the queue and standing at Dispatcher Chun doing the same thing you're doing, but you will see them in the player lists. The player lists show a combination of who is actually inside, and who is in the queue.

How to win Battle of Xanada:
Battle ends when a boss dies, or when time runs out. If time runs out, the winner is the side with the highest score. The score is determined by the combined # of player kills for that side. The boss almost always dies before time runs out, sometimes within 20 minutes, if there are lots of players attacking the boss all at once.

What's the point of doing Battle of Xanada?

  • To get dominance points

  • To get EXP

  • To get gold

  • To get your PK jollies

  • To get Astral Ethrelics (from NPC soldiers)

  • What are dominance points for?

    • To get Warcry Tokens to get free Annihilation gear from Chauncy. You get these at 28k, 42k, and 75k

    • If on Top 10 dominance ranking, you get Conquer the World tokens to get free Dominance gear from General Roshin

    • To get extra goodies, like Roxaress necklace (42k) and ring (75k), and Hulon Firedrake pet (112.5k), and probably more that we don't know about yet

    • How to get dominance points in Xanada

Winning the battle gives you 1500. Losing gives you 500. Don't d/c.
Killing players gives you bonus dominance points:

    • 10 gives you 250

    • 20 gives you 350

    • 100 gives you 500

    • How to get XP and gold in Xanada:

      There's 3 different ways:

      • Quests to kill enemy players, can get quests from one of the 2 NPCs near where you spawn

      • Quests to kill enemy soldiers, can get quests from one of the 2 NPCs near where you spawn

      • Spending time in Xanada and talking to the guard at the front

      • TIP 1: These quests are daily, and can be done for both Heaven and Demons (the reason you want to be able to go into both in any given day). If you focus on just A and B for both Heaven and Demons, I think you can get 28 event tokens and 100G per DAY from Xanada.

TIP 2: Choose the "Extraordinary Guardian" and "Only Hope" quests FIRST, to ensure that you can get the gold quests out of the way first.

        Buffs
The following buff types are available from the Profiteer Supplier NPCs in your home base:

        • INT+

        • HP+

        • DEF/RESIST+

        • Speed+

        • Turret

        • Catapult

        • The following buffs are available on the ground in certain spots around the map:

          • Regen

          • Berserk

          • Speed+

          • These all cost coins (Dragon Bronze Coins earnable and usable only in Xanada), see next section for more info.

Better versions of ALL of these buffs can be purchased at the NPC in the very center of the map on the Warbanner Islet floating island. This island also has a VERY important and awesome buff for purchase that is not available at the Profiteer Suppliers: Range+.

            Xanada Currency:
Dragon Bronze Coins are available in tiny quantities from the weak mobs near both bases. You'll get a one-time quest for this the first time you go into Xanada (for each side i think).

Better yet, if you pick up a Sacred Silver Chest (dropped from soldiers), you can convert it into 40 coins at your Profiteer Supplier NPC.

Same goes for Irised Celestial Gem (dropped from players), and that can be converted into 100 coins.

All coins, chests, gems, and buffs are GONE after you leave Xanada, however, coins/chests/gems can be stored in your Mystery Pouch if you have one, and keep it for next time.

            TIP:
In Order to get dragon coin, you will have to exange gems and chest as a quest from Profiteer supplier:

            • Gem give 100 dragon coin (get by killing a player)

            • Chest give 40 dragon coin (get by killing Soldier of the enemy faction)

            • How to Quickly Get Around:
NORMALLY, you are required to fly out through your own base gates, through the large open area in the middle, and then fly through the enemy base gates and hopefully avoid their catapults (which do 12-15k damage per hit), but, one trick is to grab your buffs at the starting area, then fly straight up past 550 height, then fly to anywhere you want on the map, even over mountains. This is not yet well known, apparently even among Slayers, although I have seen some of them do this. Try to keep this a secret as long as you can, because it makes a huge difference in survivability and getting things done efficiently.

How to Kill Enemy Soldiers / How to Get Xanada Coins:
Soldiers hit for about 3500 HP - 4000 HP, maybe less if you have a lot of defense. In order to safely and quickly farm soldiers for coins and to satisfy your soldier quests, you'll need a Turret buff (or Turret+ if basic Turret def isn't quite enough) and a Defense buff (known as Stiffner potion. Same thing applies here, you might want the better version from Warbanner Islet if it's not enough def.) I usually get a Defense+ and Turret+ buff to bring their damage down to a whopping 1 dmg per hit.

Once I have the buffs, I go to the enemy base (unless there is resistance, in which case I just hang out in the large middle area of the map), then I use the def and turret buffs, and AOE large groups of soldiers. If you go to the enemy base, you'll want to stand in an area near the boss, and not too close to the enemy catapult, but close enough to get the attention of the two groups of soldiers that pop up every 1.5-2 minutes.

TIP: As far as I can tell, you NEED to have the FIRST hit on a soldier in order to get credit for its kill for your quests, even if someone else does more damage than you.

              How to Kill Enemy Players:
This really depends on whether the battle is a one-sided battle with high levels on one side and mostly alt characters on the other side, or if there are actual players on both teams vying for the win.

If it's one-sided, all you need is a Range buff (preferably the Range+ one from the Warbanner Islet NPC), and you can pick up players to your hearts content at the enemy spawn point. You'll probably hear Slayers complaining that you're not getting in line to kill their alts, but don't listen to them. I even hear Slayers bitching at each other about this. Pretty funny!

              If it's NOT one-sided:
You'll want to look for red X's on your mini-map and go kill them.

NOTE 1: If you have someone on your foes list, they show up as red X's too even if they are on your own team. But if you hover your mouse over a red X and no name shows up, you know for sure it's an enemy player.

NOTE 2: If you want to really play against other serious opponents, I recommend having the Iron Will ethyr skill handy, because not only can you get crazy INT boosts (2000 from INT+, another 500 from aoe INT buff), you can also boost up your resistance (Via defense buffs) into the multi-thousands, and then convert all that resistance into your INT via Iron Will skill for a few seconds.

NOTE 3: Range buffs and Speed buffs, and the short-lived Regen buffs from the ground are also a MAJOR help in your fight against opponents.

NOTE 4: Bring a full stack (or more) of Revival scrolls because with crazy HP buffs, your fuse pets are almost sure to die before you do (I'm not even sure if super fuses can match your buffed HP?).

              Quest for Kills in Xanada:

Second NPC [Heaven or Demon] Supervisor, that gives you quests 1 to 5.

              • Face to Face Encounter - kill one member from the opposite team and get 1 event token

              • Hero Out For Blood - kill five members of the opposite team and get 2 event tokens

              • Only Hope - kill 10 members of the opposite team and get 4 event tokens and a money bag

              • Backbone - kill 5 soldiers of the opposite side and get 2 event tokens

              • Extraordinary Guardian - kill 20 soldiers of the opposite side and get 4 event tokens and a money bag

              • Quest for Event Tokens in Xanada:

                NPC name: [Heaven/Demon] Vanguard

                Quest: Guard at the Front
Objective: Keep her alive for the next 15min

                • The First Period : 1 Event Token

                • The Second Period : 2 Event Token

                • The Third Period : 3 Event Token

                • The Last Period : 4 Event Token

                • How to Kill The Boss:

The boss is a large monster a few faces away from the enemy spawn area.It does NOT fight back. Your attacks do only 1 damage to it. It seems to have many thousand HP.

NOTE 1: Stand on top of the boss's head and auto-attack it with normal attacks, and you will avoid getting killed by enemy soldiers.

NOTE 2: If you're trying to kill Demons boss, stand behind the tree and attack and you usually can avoid soldier attacks. If you're trying to kill Heaven boss, stand far away behind and to the boss's left side to avoid soldier attacks.

NOTE 3: Bring a Catapult or Catapult+ buff. When you use this buff you transform into a Catapult. While transformed, you have two new skills that show up in your skill screen. Fire Bomb, and cancel transform. Drag the fire bomb skill to a hotkey and spam the boss with this. For a Catapult+, each Fire Bomb hit does *30* damage, which means a Catapult+ can damage the boss 30x as fast as any normal player!

NOTE 4: You can only do Xanada quests (player kills, event tokens, etc) once, on each side per day. In other words, once on Heaven side and once on Demon side.

                  First Timer [Ether Saga Odyssey]

When I first started playing a MMO game, I wasn't expecting much. But neither did I expect a crash-course on the basics as well. It was terrifying for a newbie, and probably even more terrifying in a sense that everything's new. New surroundings, new sensations, new sights, new sounds, new friends, etc etc.

True that MMO games are so much different than PC-based games like Sims Social on Facebook. It's an entirely different gameplay where everything is a little competitive where who gets the most kills out of a PvP/PK system, who hits the hardest, who crits the best and stuffs like that.

But the best advice I had learned and willing to pass on is: Enjoy the gaming experience.

Why? Because you can only be a newb/nub player for only so long before you level past the "baby" levels and moved on to bigger things in the game itself. Dungones/Instances that are immensely even harder than the lowbie ones that you can do solo. World bosses that takes effort from 5-6 teams, while trying to fend off troll alliances who just wants to see you fail. And not forgetting, trolls on World Chat (this term differs in different MMOs), trying to make you feel even lousier, especially after trying, and successfully made you and your teams failed to take a boss that everyone's so excited and anticipating for.

Different MMO games are unique in their own way. For example, in ESO, you can learned a total of 2 vocations to craft things, and most times, these 2 vocations are needed because they complement each other as a whole. While in JD, the vocation system is pretty similar, but as long as you have the recipes and correct vocation level, you can pretty much craft anything and everything. Although to progress through the levels of a vocation, you may need to stay at a specific level for the vocation materials.

And as for FW, starting at early levels, you may find yourself having too much vocation points to learn stuffs. But as you progress further on, you will find that it is necessary to stick with some vocations, while certain ones can be freezed in favor of others that may help you lots more in terms of questing and so on.

I personally believe that the first step to any MMO games is actually the vocation process. Just think about it, most vocation lets you craft pots instead of having to buy them off NPCs in bulk. It definitely helps you save more for your gears in the long run.

                  Raptorex Mount [Forsaken World]

                  Mount Name: Raptorex
                  Level Requirement: Lv30
                  Speed: 135%
                  Aquatic: No
                  Race: Any

Basic mount in-game for Forsaken World. A 15-day version of this mount can be obtained from the Tytan's Gift Promotion. Permanent version can be obtained from any Guild Resource Agent for 50 Merit and 27 Gold.

As stated in the description above, Tytan's Gift Promotion is actually a cash-shop box (from Eyrda Boutique in-game for Forsaken World). But the catch is that you must spend, a.k.a transferred to your account on Perfect World, a minimum of 1000 Zen (US$10) before you are eligible to get this item. Within the Tytan's Gift Promotion is a Raptorex Crystal Box which contains:

Although most players would have been happy enough to receive a cs box that gives you all of the items that are inside the box itself. But still, you do have to spend before you can get it for free. In other words, presuming that you just transferred money to your PW account and not spend a single cent at all, this box actually costs a whopping US$10!? And for that amount, you are getting:

                • A 15-day Raptorex amoount instead of a 30-day mount or even a permanent mount

                • Raptorex Crystal Champion Title, and that's about it. Nothing more, just a pink title that doesn't even flash nor blink non-stop

                • 10 x Star Crystals, which I personally felt it a little tad stingy. Why not 15 instead?

                • 10 Gold Soul Coins, and nothing more, just that 10 miserable 10 Gold soul coins that's bound to the character that opened this box

                • All in all, this is 1 free cs box that isn't exactly free in the first place. And the fact that the free mount lasts only a good 15-days is a bad factor too. So, if you accidentally choose the wrong character, maybe a mule character for storing crap, you cannot help but to actually level up the mule just for the sake of not wasting it. Unless you don't mind spending that money..
